HSAC 2019 Gala

The Pepperdine School of Public Policy is pleased to announce the formation of an innovative academic enterprise with the Los Angeles Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC). This new initiative, known as the Homeland Security Advisory Council at the School of Public Policy (HSAC@SPP), will expand HSAC's work in disaster preparedness, crisis management, and resiliency through engaging the public, private, and civic sectors. Positioned to prepare the current and next generation of public leaders, HSAC@SPP will also harness the school's unique curriculum dedicated to exploring the full range of cross-sector and information technology solutions to public policy challenges.

To celebrate the new enterprise, HSAC@SPP will host a gala on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Montage Beverly Hills. Join us as we honor Pepperdine president Andrew K. Benton for his stewardship of this strategic collaboration and his leadership during last year's Woolsey Fire, as well as pay tribute to the honorable Wendy Greuel, HSAC board member and former Los Angeles city controller & Los Angeles City Councilmember. We look forward to a memorable evening recognizing HSAC's contributions to our region as we cast a vision for the future of our important work together.
