Regalia

Graduation regalia rentals including the cap, gown, hood, and tassel will be provided by SPP for all students participating in commencement ceremonies. Regalia will be available for pick up a few days prior to the commencement ceremony in the Office of Student Services.  On the day of the ceremony, students should plan to arrive no later than 9:30 am to allow for robing, group photo, individual photos, and lineup. Tassels and caps may be kept by the student. The gown and hood must be returned at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Students who wish to purchase their hood or gown following the ceremony should contact the Herff Jones representative at the Cap and Gown Return tent at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Student loan borrowers are required to complete Federal Student Loan Exit Counseling and/or Federal Perkins Loan Exit Counseling before regalia can be released.

Graduates should wear appropriate attire for this formal occasion. Phi Alpha Alpha honor society medals and veteran cords are pre-approved regalia adornments.

Graduates shall leave purses, briefcases, and non-essential items at home or with guests. There will be no secure place for graduates to leave any personal belongings during the ceremony.
