Visitor Information - Practical Stops

The following are some of the more practical stops that you will appreciate during your stay in Malibu.

Bed Bath and Beyond - Several locations near campus. A popular home good store for bed, bath, and kitchen accessories. Bed Bath and Beyond is located in Westlake Village or Canoga Park, both about 15 miles away from campus.

Barnes and Noble - 4735 Commons Way, Calabasas. The popular book and music store.  Barnes and Noble is 15 miles away in the Calabasas Commons.  Take Malibu Canyon to the 101 south, exit to the left on Parkway Calabasas, The Commons will be on the right.

Best Buy - 390 N Moorpark Rd., Thousand Oaks.

Costco - 5700 Lindero Canyon Rd., Westlake Village. A wholesale and bulk food store.  Costco is 15 miles away from campus. Take Malibu Canyon to the 101 north, exit Lindero Canyon to the right, and Costco will be on the right.

California Department of Motor Vehicles - Several locations in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.

Fry's - 6100 Canoga Ave., Woodland Hills.

IKEA - 600 N. San Fernando Blvd., Burbank. Functional home furnishings. Located in Downtown Burbank, about 35 miles from campus.

Kaiser Permanente - 5601 De Soto Ave., Woodland Hills.

Kinko's - 5045 Cornell Rd., Agoura Hills. The popular copy, binding, and printing center is open 24 hours. Kinko's is 13 miles away from campus. Take Malibu Canyon to the 101 north, exit Kanan to the left, and Kinko's will be on the other side of the 101.

Lassen's Natural Food and Vitamins - 2857 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks. Take Malibu Canyon to the 101 north, exit Hampshire, turn right, turn left onto Thousand Oaks Blvd.

Malibu Car Wash and Detail - Malibu Country Mart 310.456.3116.

Malibu Urgent Care - 23656 Pacific Coast Highway 310.456.7551.

Ralph's Grocery Store - 23841 Malibu Rd., Malibu. The closest grocery store to campus. Located just south of campus on the right side of Pacific Coast Highway in the Malibu Colony Plaza.

The Oaks - Thousand Oaks Shopping Mall - The Thousand Oaks indoor/outdoor shopping mall with both department and specialty stores. The Oaks Shopping Mall is 24 miles away from campus. Take Malibu Canyon to the 101 north, exit Lynn Rd. to the right, and the Oaks will be on the right.

Pacific Coast Greens Grocery Store -  22601 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu. Offerings are similar to Whole Foods or Wild Oats.

Santa Monica Medical Center - 1250 16th St., Santa Monica 310.319.4000.

CVS Pharmacy- 23805 West Malibu Rd., Malibu. The closest drug store to campus. CVS is just south of campus on the right side of Pacific Coast Highway in the Malibu Colony Plaza.

Social Security Administration Offices - Several offices located throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties.

Target - Several locations near campus. A popular all-purpose discount store. Target is 17 miles away from campus.  Locations in Woodland Hills, West Hills, Topanga Mall, and Thousand Oaks.

Trader Joe's - Several locations near campus. A grocery store full of the basics, plus unique items at great prices. Trader Joes' is located in Santa Monica, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, West Hills, and Woodland Hills.

Westfield Topanga Shopping Mall - 6600 Topanga Canyon Blvd, Canoga Park. Down the street from the Topanga Shopping Mall, the Westfield Mall is anchored by Nordstrom, Macy's, Sears, Neiman Marcus, and Target.

Westlake Medical Center - 4415 S. Lakeview Canyon Rd., Westlake Village.

Whole Foods Market - Several locations near campus in Woodland Hills, Thousand Oaks, and Santa Monica.
