School of Public Policy Announces Online Introduction for Fall 2020 Semester

Pepperdine School of Public Policy Building

On July 23, 2020, Pete Peterson, Braun Family dean of the Pepperdine School of Public Policy, announced the school's decision to transition the Fall 2020 semester classes online.

Following President Gash's message on Wednesday July 22, 2020, the publicpolicy.pepperdine.edu will transition its fall semester classes to online, maintaining the planned start date of August 17, and concluding the semester on Thanksgiving. Given current conditions and the policies set forth by state and county officials, SPP is in full agreement with University leadership that this decision best supports the health of SPP students, faculty, and staff. The goal remains clear: a safe start to in-person classes as soon as possible.

While SPP had already planned in its earlier-announced “Maximum Flexibility Strategy” to provide online options for all of our fall semester classes, the SPP faculty and staff are working to ensure an exceptional online learning experience for the students now that the semester is going fully online.
