Drs. Prieger and Kulick Present "What the FDA Would Have to Know to Evaluate Tobacco Regulations"
James Prieger, associate professor of public policy, and Jonathan Kulick, senior project director and adjuct professor at the School of Public Policy, presented a paper, "Countervailing Effects: What the FDA Would Have to Know to Evaluate Tobacco Regulations," coauthored with Mark A. R. Kleiman, at the 2015 Society of Government Economists Conference in Washington, D.C. on May 21, 2015. Prieger and Kulick set forth a research agenda for the FDA to consider in order to estimate the effects of contemplated tobacco-product regulation and illicit trade in tobacco products.
