City of Palo Alto CIO Offers "Technology & Smart Cities"

The School of Public Policy's Fall 2017 Policy Intensives with Practitioners Series will offer its next half-day workshop on "Technology & Smart Cities," on Friday, November 10, 2017, from 10 am to 2 pm, in SPP Classroom 175. Jonathan Reichental, chief information officer for the City of Palo Alto, California, will tackle the topic of population growth and rapid urbanization of cities. Through discussion, lecture, and workshop activities, Reichental will demonstrate how cities must use innovative technology, along with a greater degree of civic engagement to overcome the challenges and move forward.

Lunch will be served. Registration is required.
