Alumnus Adam Crepelle on "Concealed Carry to Reduce Sexual Violence Against American Indian Women" KU Journal of Law
School of Public Policy alumnus Adam Crepelle (MPP '15) recently published "Concealed Carry to Reduce Sexual
Violence Against American Indian Women," in the University of Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy, a ninth-ranked journal of law and society. Crepelle discusses the rates of sexual
violence suffered by Indian women, two aggravating reasons for the abominable rates
of sexual violence against them, and presents concealed carry as a solution to protect
Indian women. Crepelle also proposes a strategy to encourage Indian women to concealed
carry.
Crepelle received a master of public policy from the Pepperdine University School
of Public Policy in 2015, a juris doctorate from Southern University Law Center in
2013, and a bachelor of science in exercise science from the University of Louisiana
at Lafayette in 2009.
