Graduate Assistantships
A limited number of merit-based graduate and research assistantships are available each year to students interested in working with faculty or administration in the School of Public Policy. Students typically work about 10 hours per week and earn $1,500 per semester.
You may request consideration for an assistantship by submitting a letter of interest and a resume to one of the below areas:
Faculty Assistantships
- If you are interested in working for a specific School of Public Policy faculty member, please submit your letter of interest and resume to the faculty member directly.
Davenport Institute Assistantships
- If you are interested in working for the Davenport Institute for Public Engagement and Civic Leadership, please submit your letter of interest and resume to Robert Jordan at: robert.jordan@pepperdine.edu.
Please note: For the Fall semester, the application review process will begin at the end of July. Graduate Assistantships at the Davenport Institute are restricted to those students with Federal Work Study awards.
Dean's Office Assistantships
- If you are interested in working for the Dean's Office (communications, events, and front desk) please submit your letter of interest and resume to Patrick Etcheverry at: patrick.etcheverry@pepperdine.edu.
