Sara Lindgren Named Director of Recruitment and Program Relations

The Pepperdine School of Public Policy is pleased to welcome back Sara Lindgren (‘94, MPP ‘01) as the new director of recruitment and program relations. A double alumna of Pepperdine, Sara earned her bachelor's degree in sociology from Seaver College before completing her Master of Public Policy in 2001.
Bringing a diverse cross-sector background in education and faith-based nonprofit leadership, Lindgren most recently served as academic dean at Beacon Hill Classical Academy in Camarillo, California. In this role, she provided strategic leadership in school operations, curriculum development, and policy implementation. Her experience in higher education includes serving as associate director of admissions at Pepperdine’s Seaver College, where she played a key role in student recruitment and enrollment strategy.
Lindgren’s commitment to student mentorship extends beyond the classroom. She previously served as interim assistant director for Pepperdine’s International Program in Lausanne, Switzerland, where she supported student development, academic programming, campus operations, and educational field experiences in a multicultural setting.
In addition to her work in academia, Lindgren has significant private-sector experience as co-founder of Lindcom Global, a consultancy specializing in global communications, operations, and management for NGOs. She has led international marketing initiatives, provided logistical support for cross-border projects, and advised organizations on best practices in nonprofit management.
As director of recruitment and program relations, Lindgren will lead student recruitment efforts and oversee the Pepperdine Policy Partners Program (P4)—a national network of recruitment partners advancing the school’s mission to prepare the next generation of policy leaders.
"I am thrilled to be 'coming home' to the Pepperdine School of Public Policy, where I will have the opportunity to collaborate with a team committed to the mission of nurturing the next generation of policy leaders and building up a premier graduate program," said Lindgren.
Dean Pete Peterson expressed his enthusiasm for Lindgren’s return to SPP. “Sara brings a wealth of experience in education and student development, all rooted in her deep passion for preparing future leaders. An engaged SPP alumna over the years, her enthusiasm for our mission as a graduate policy school at a Christian university is infectious,” he said. “Her leadership will be instrumental as we continue strengthening relationships with our recruitment partners nationwide.”
