Wilson Center Graduate Fellowship

The Wilson Center Graduate Fellowship is a unique collaboration between the Pepperdine School of Public Policy and the respected Wilson Center in Washington, DC. Through this initiative, SPP graduate students will apply for two specific fellowships each year, but all students will benefit from the curricular and extracurricular programming made possible by this program. 

The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars provides nonpartisan insights and analysis on global affairs to policymakers and the public through deep research, open dialogue, and independent scholarship.

 

 

Fellowship Programmatic Elements

• New dedicated coursework in different aspects of sports diplomacy raging from international relations to economics. Currently offering: Fall 2026: MPP 647 - "Seminar in Political Issues: Sports Diplomacy"  with professor Steve Bilakovics
• Speaker events throughout the year, welcoming experts in the field to speak on-campus
• Career advising and assistance in sports diplomacy-related fields
• Funded summer internships at the Wilson Center in Washington, DC, for the sellected fellows
• Assistance for Capstone research/writing on sports diplomacy for the sellected fellows
