Biography
Ashton Ellis holds a juris doctorate from Pepperdine University, a master's degree in public policy and administration from Baylor University as well as a bachelor's degree in political science and religion from Baylor where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Ellis formerly worked for the Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives as well as the Riverside County District Attorney's Office. He is the author of Refounding America: A Field Manual for Patriot Activists, and is the contributing editor to the Center for Individual Freedom. His commentary has appeared in RealClearPolitics, The Daily Caller, Orange County Register, Texas Insider, Red County magazine, and the (Riverside) Press-Enterprise. At Pepperdine University Ellis teaches Public Policy and the Legal Framework, among other classes.
