In addition to the Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree, the School of Public Policy offers the following joint MPP degrees:

- Professional certificate in advanced public engagement for local government
Davenport Institute for Public Engagement and Civic Leadership
The Davenport Institute helps solve California's public issues by promoting citizen participation in governance. The School of Public Policy works with city and county governments, special districts, regional governance associations, and nonprofit organizations to both promote and support legitimate civic involvement.
City Manager in Residence Program
As part of a collaborative effort developed by the California International City Manager Association (Cal-ICMA), the City Manager in Residence program offers the opportunity to learn first-hand from some of the best city managers in California.
Financial Assistance
Scholarships are awarded to 90 percent of students. The Office of Financial Aid works with candidates to explore assistance options, loan programs, and Federal Work-Study programs.
