Professor Jerry Ellig will describe a the nuts and bolts of how regulation currently works in Washington, D.C., and provide information about the trends over the past few decades: economic deregulation, the size/scope of regulation, highlight problems, and suggest ideas for changing the regulatory process.
Karin Lane (MPP '05) is director of the Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission Program of AMPATH, which runs 23 HIV/AIDS clinics in Kenya.
