Graduation

Guest Information

The School of Public Policy does not limit the number of guests a graduate may invite to the ceremony. Seating is open and based on a first-come, first-served basis.

We kindly suggest that prospective graduates ask their guests to arrive by 9:45 a.m. on the day of graduation. The graduation ceremony starts promptly at 10:30 a.m. Access to the graduation on Alumni Park is wheelchair accessible and spaces will be reserved accordingly. Prospective graduates, whose guests require special services, should contact the Office of the Dean two weeks prior to the graduation ceremony. Graduates should plan to invite guests to participate in the reception held in their honor immediately following the ceremony. As this is an outdoor ceremony; sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats are recommended for sun-sensitive guests (umbrellas are not permitted).
