2008 - 2009 Theodore J. Forstmann Scholarships

Application Process

The Pepperdine School of Public Policy will award a selected number of new students with $25,000 scholarships for the next two academic years beginning in the Fall of 2007. The continuation of the award through the second year is contingent on the students' academic standing in maintaining a 3.25 cumulative GPA.

Application Requirements

  1. Applicants must demonstrate a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or greater from their undergraduate institution.
  2. Applicants must write a 500-word essay describing the proper spheres of government, individual initiative, transcendent ethical principles, and free markets needed in the formulation and implementation of American public policy.

The application deadline is May 1, 2008.

Selection Process

A committee of public policy administrators and full-time faculty will evaluate the applications. Students will be informed of the scholarship in June 2008.
