The Pepperdine School of Public Policy is pleased to announce the Theodore J. Forstmann Scholarships. This year marks the second generous gift of $1 million from long-time friend, philanthropist Theodore J. Forstmann. A selected number of new students will receive $25,000 for the next two academic years beginning in the Fall of 2007. In addition, there will be limited funds available for applied student research. The scholarship was established in 2005 to embrace Forstmann’s long-standing commitment to education and his personal interests in the social and spiritual benefits of free markets and traditional values.
Forstmann gave the dedicatory address, titled "Statism: The Opiate of the Elites," on October 24, 2003 for the opening of the Henry and Virginia Braun Center for the School of Public Policy.
