Springfield MO Public Engagement

The City of Springfield, Mo is looking to revitalize the historic College Street Corridor, but they don’t want to do it without the public’s help.  The City will hold a series of weekly meetings (the first was on Jan 18) through the middle of April to give residents a chance to develop and share their ideas for redevelopment:

“Part of the process will be seeing what the community would like to see,” said Rusty Worley, President of the West Central Neighborhood Association.

In addition to the meetings, public engagement will include a web page, and an electronic forum accessed through the web page. The web page will contain reports, meeting announcements, agendas, and meeting notes, while the electronic forum will be available for community members and City representatives to have ongoing discussions about the process.
