16,000 Participate in 200 Gov 2.0 Contests

Challenge.gov announced that it has reached the launch of 200 contests for application development using Federal data. Over 16,000 citizen developers have participated in the competitions, which date back to 2010.

Recent “citizen-generated” apps include those for the CDC and Medicaid/-care involving self-administered health advice.
