Master of Public Policy (MPP)

School of Public Policy building - Pepperdine University

Our Master of Public Policy program is a full-time, residential program, requiring 50 units of course work, for two academic years (four semesters), with enrollment of around 100 students. There is no predetermined undergraduate major to become an MPP candidate.

MPP/MDR

The Master of Public Policy/Master of Dispute Resolution is a joint program with the Pepperdine School of Law. It is designed to strengthen and perfect the preparation of those whose successful leadership depends on a fuller understanding and a stronger skill set for addressing issues of public policy in the practice of law or in the interface between the private business sector and an increasingly complex government presence.

Our Master of Public Policy/Juris Doctor program is a four-year, full-time program that is designed to strengthen and perfect the preparation of those whose successful leadership depends on a fuller understanding of and a stronger skill set for addressing issues of public policy in the practice of law or in the interface between the private business sector and an increasingly complex government presence.

Graziadio Business School - Pepperdine University

MPP/MBA

Our Master of Public Policy/Master of Business Administration program is a three-year, full-time program that provides an enriched leadership experience by focusing on management capabilities, leadership qualities, and a commitment to utilizing the tools of analysis and policy design to effect successful implementation and institutional change.

Washington, DC Summer Seminar

Capitol Building - Pepperdine University

A 4-week, 3-credit seminar at our D.C. Campus on Pennsylvania Avenue is based on one of our "James Q. Wilson Core" courses, students engage in a fast-moving conversation about a series of crisis points in American history.

Professional Certificate in Advanced Public Engagement for Local Government

A 3-day intensive workshop for government practitioners. The first program of it's kind in the United States, this professional certificate draws on the expertise of the Davenport Institute, which over the past decade has become a leader in equipping local governments for legitimate public engagement.
