Biography
Adam Gailey is in the final stages of his dissertation for a PhD at Pardee Rand Graduate School (PRGS) where he teaches the microeconomics bootcamp for incoming PhD candidates and assists in teaching econometrics and microeconomics to more senior candidates. He has served as a consultant for CRA International, an economic and financial consulting firm that specializes in analyses for business litigation. There he performed statistical analyses of fair lending issues, including price and risk modeling. His policy research interests include labor markets, healthcare, civil justice, and social disparities and his recent research includes simulating long run effects of health trends on government revenues and expenditures, estimating the effects of employment discrimination laws and claims, and investigating the value of innovations in pharmacogenetics. He received a MPhil in policy analysis from RAND, an MS in economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a BA in economics and mathematics from Macalester College.
